Special Issue on
Civil and Environmental Engineering
Civil engineering is a
general term for the science and technology of constructing various types of
land engineering facilities. It refers to the applied materials, equipment and
technical activities such as survey, design, construction, maintenance and repair,
as well as the objects of engineering construction. The purpose of civil
engineering is to form spaces and passages that are required by human
production or life with good functions, comfort and aesthetics. It is both a
material-level need and a spiritual need. The goal of this special issue is to
provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to
promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Civil
and Environmental Engineering.
In this special issue,
we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original
research and review articles on exploring Civil and Environmental
Engineering. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Sustainable construction
-
Environmental highway construction
-
Seismic performance of buildings
-
Wind loading of buildings
-
Energy efficiency in buildings
-
Transportation engineering
-
Civil engineering systems
-
Civil engineering and management
Authors should read over
the journal’s For Authors carefully before
submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their
complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify
the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special
Issue - Civil and Environmental Engineering” should be selected
during your submission.
