Special Issue on Genetic Diversity Research

Genetic Diversity, the level of biodiversity, refers to the total numbers of genetic characteristics in the genetic makeup of a species, and it plays an important role in the survival and adaptability of a species. The species that have a high genetic variation have good living in nature, and the high genetic variation is essential to evolve. On the contrary, the species that have a low genetic variation are at a greater risk. With very little variation within the species, healthy reproduction will become difficult. There were some different simple measures to assess the genetic diversity, such as gene diversity, heterozygosity, alleles per locus. On the other hand, genotypic and phenotypic diversity has been found in all species at the protein, DNA, and organismal levels.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring genetic diversity. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Describes the tendency of genetic characteristics to vary
• Importance of genetic diversity
• Coping with poor genetic diversity
• Measures of genetic diversity
• Importance  in the survival and adaptability of a species

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission, Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Paper Submission System.
