Special Issue on Fiber Reinforced Polymer
Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) materials are composite materials that
typically consist of strong fibers embedded in a resin matrix. The fibers
provide strength and stiffness to the composite and generally carry most of the
applied loads. The matrix acts to bond and protect the fibers and to provide
for transfer of stress from fiber to fiber through shear stresses. The goal of this
special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over
the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in
the area of fiber reinforced polymer.
In this
special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original
research and review articles that explore fiber reinforced polymer. In this special issue, potential topics include,
but are not limited to:
-
Fibre-reinforced
plastic
-
Fibre
reinforced polymer in construction
-
Carbon fibre
reinforced polymer
-
Aramid fibre
reinforced polymer
-
Glass-fibre-reinforced
polymers
-
Applications
of FRP
Authors
should read over the journal’s For
Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper
Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special
Issue – fiber reinforced polymer” should
be selected during your submission.
