Special Issue on Applied and Environmental Microbiology

Environmental Microbiology is the ecology of microorganisms: their relationship with one another and with their environment. Microbial life plays a primary role in regulating biogeochemical systems

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Applied and Environmental Microbiology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Microorganisms and environmental health
• Microbial ecology and community 
• Bacterial diversity and ecological studies
• Microbial processes and molecular biology
• Bacteria and wastewater treatment
• Biotechnology
• Microbial technology and agricultural science
• Plant pathology and environmental microbiology

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Applied and Environmental Microbiology” should be chosen during your submission.
