Special
Issue on ‘Findings on History of Italian Mechanical Engineering’ from IFIT
2020, the Third International Conference of IFToMM ITALY
The
aim of the IFIT 2020 Conference (https://www.iftommitaly.it/ifit2020/) is to bring together researchers, industry
professionals and students not only of the Italian community from the broad
ranges of disciplines referring to Mechanism Science, in an intimate, collegial
and stimulating environment. The IFIT 2020, third International Conference of
the IFToMM ITALY association will be held at the School of Polytechnic and
Basic Sciences of the University of Naples “Federico II”, in Naples,
Italy.
Among
the topics of interest that are related to the scientific-technical aspects of
theory, design, practice and application of the Mechanism and Machine Science, there
is a specific interest on historical backgrounds mainly focused on the Italian
History of Mechanical Engineering.
The
special issue is focused on the Italian History of Mechanical Engineering in
all its aspects (figures, achievements, theories, methods, schools, etc.).
It is
organized by invitation of papers that are selected among those that are
accepted for IFIT 2020, third International Conference of the IFToMM ITALY.
Those papers will undergo to peer review process with the AHS journal
procedures. A reduced publication fee is asked for publication in the journal. The
papers will prepared in the journal format as in For Authors and will be submitted to the Guest Editors, who are
in charge of the collection of the papers before the review process.
