Special Issue on Labor Economics

Labor economics seeks to understand the functioning and dynamics of the markets for wage labor. Labor markets or job markets function through the interaction of workers and employers. Labor economics looks at the suppliers of labor services (workers) and the demanders of labor services (employers), and attempts to understand the resulting pattern of wages, employment, and income.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Labor Economics. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Labor market analysis
  • Effects on economic growth
  • Job market and labor policy
  • Wages and welfare
  • Labor and capital
  • Labor productivity
  • Unemployment analysis
  • Employee management
  • Labor supply and demand
  • Personnel economics

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Labor Economics” should be chosen during your submission.
