Special Issue on Thermodynamics and Statistical Physics
Thermodynamics
is the branch of physics that deals with the relationships between heat and
other forms of energy. In particular, it describes how thermal energy is
converted to and from other forms of energy and how it affects matter. The
goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and
academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new
issues and developments in the area of thermodynamics and
statistical physics.
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and
authors to submit original research and review articles that explore thermodynamics
and statistical physics. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Thermodynamic
equilibrium state
-
Temperature,
kinetic theory, and the ideal gas law
-
Specific
heat and heat transfer
-
Laws
of thermodynamics
-
Heat
transfer
-
Nonequilibrium
statistical thermodynamics
-
States
and processes
-
Applications
of thermodynamics and statistical physics
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should
submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper
Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special
Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Thermodynamics and
Statistical Physics” should be selected
during your submission.
