Special Issue on Biomimetic Materials
Biomimetic materials are materials developed using inspiration from nature which may be useful in the design of composite materials, or material structures, and it was one of the most important fields in biomaterials. There were many nature structures which have been involved in the biomimetic materials. For example the honeycombe structure of beehive, the fiber structure of wood, spider silks, nacre, bone. And lots of biomimetic materials were designed and widely used in tissue engineering, nanotechnology, biology, medical science and so on.
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore Biomimetic Materials.
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue’’ under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Biomimetic Materials” should be chosen during your submission.
