Special Issue on Area Studies

Area studies (also regional studies) are interdisciplinary fields focusing on the research of history, politics, economics, and cultures of various areas of the world or of a specific geographic region. It may involve the history, sociology, ethnology, political science, cultural studies, languages, geography, literature, and other related disciplines.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Area Studies. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Asian studies
• Eastern studies
• European studies
• German studies
• Islamic studies
• Romance studies
• Emigration
• Political economy
• Cultural studies
• International relations
• Geographical regions

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Area Studies” should be selected during your submission.
