    Special Issue on Influenza Virus Infections


    Influenza, commonly known as the flu, is an infectious disease caused by an influenza virus. Three of the four types of influenza viruses affect humans: Type A, Type B, and Type C. Influenza spreads around the world in yearly outbreaks.


    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Influenza Virus Infections. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Influenza A virus infection
    • Mechanism and pathogenesis
    • Prevalence and control
    • Influenza vaccines
    • Clinical characteristics
    • Epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment
    • Influenza virus-induced diseases

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.


    Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Influenza Virus Infections” should be chosen during your submission.
