Special Issue on Systems and Software
Engineering
A
software system is a system of intercommunicating components based on software
forming part of a computer system. The use of the term software system is at
times related to the application of systems theory approaches in the context of
software engineering. The concept is used in the study of large and complex
software, because it focuses on the major components of software and their
interactions. Software is prominent in most modern systems architectures and is
often the primary means for integrating complex system components. Software
engineering and systems engineering are not merely related discipline, they are
also intimately intertwined.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Systems and Software Engineering. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Data management systems
-
Control systems
-
System analysis and design
-
Requirements engineering
-
System evaluation
-
Configuration management
-
Systematic verification
-
Object-oriented design
-
Process modeling and improvement
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field
“Special Issue – Systems and Software
Engineering” should be chosen during your submission.
