Special Issue on Treatment of Liver Diseases
The special issue on “treatment of liver disease” will be focusing on the latest advancement of medication and surgical treatment of various liver diseases. The liver is the largest solid organ in the body which carries a lot of critical functions such as glycogen storage, decomposition of red blood cells, plasma protein synthesis, hormone production, and detoxification. It forms and secretes bile that contains bile acids to aid in the digestion and intestinal absorption of fats and the fat-soluble vitamins.
There are many kinds of liver diseases. Hepatitis can be caused by hepatitis viruses like HBV, HCV. Other diseases can be the result of drugs, poisons or drinking too much alcohol. As the liver diseases are a kind of common diseases of great harm, increasing attentions have been paid to their therapeutic methods. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of treatment of liver diseases.
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore treatment of liver diseases.
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.
