Special Issue on Dentistry

Dentistry is the branch of medicine which contains the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders and conditions of the oral cavity, the maxillofacial area and the adjacent and associated structures, and their effects on the human body. Oral disease are major public health problems in the world for their high incidence, and the most common diseases were dental caries and periodontal disease, the majority of dental treatments are to prevent or treat these two diseases. But the contents of dentistry are far more these two aspects. There are nine major areas of investigation in Dentistry: public health dentistry, endodontics, oral and maxillofacial pathology, oral and maxillofacial radiology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry. There are still other dental niches such as dental aesthetics. As one of the most important problems closely related to human life, Dentistry is of great attractions to researchers. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Dentistry.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore Dentistry.

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
