Special Issue on Philosophy of Mind
Philosophy
of mind is a branch of philosophy that studies the essence of mind,
psychological events, psychological functions, psychological characteristics,
consciousness and their relationship with the body (especially the brain). The
debate between idealists and materialists is still endless. The development of
neuroscience has helped us to understand some of the problems. Modern
philosophers of mind continue to seek answers for subjective qualities and
intentions in the mental states and characteristics in a naturalistic way.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on
exploring philosophy of mind.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Mind-body
dualism
-
