Special Issue on Soil Environment and Agriculture

The soil is one of the most important bases of subsistence and a resource that is renewable to only a limited degree. Soil performs many vital functions. Soil fertility is a make or break factor for agriculture. But the impact of soil and agriculture on each other is not merely reciprocal: water, air, climate and biodiversity protection are also particularly important for these two elements. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of soil environment and agriculture .

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore soil environment and agriculture. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Digital soil and resource management
  • Soil fertility and oriented cultivation improvement
  • Plant nutrition and efficient fertilizer application
  • Soil biology and interface processes
  • Soil use and environmental change
  • The enhancement of soil biodiversity
  • Reduction of soil erosion, contamination and compaction

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Soil Environment and Agriculture” should be selected during your submission.
