Special Issue on Maternal-Fetal & Neonatal Medicine & Care

Maternal health is the health of women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. It encompasses the health care dimensions of family planning, preconception, prenatal, and postnatal care in order to ensure a positive and fulfilling experience in most cases and reduce maternal morbidity and mortality in other cases. Maternal health has great effects on child health and development. Maternal–fetal medicine focuses on managing health concerns of the mother and fetus prior to, during, and shortly after pregnancy.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Maternal-Fetal & Neonatal Medicine & Care. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Prenatal care and antenatal diagnosis
• Disorders and diseases during pregnancy 
• Amniotic fluid embolism
• Maternal depression and postpartum care
• Maternal weight management
• Maternal mortality
• Prevention of preterm birth
• Mother to child transmission of HIV
• Childbirth
• Fetus and newborns Health

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Maternal-Fetal & Neonatal Medicine & Care” should be chosen during your submission.
