Special Issue on Agricultural Biodiversity
Agricultural biodiversity is a broad term that
includes all components of biological diversity of relevance to food and
agriculture, and all components of biological diversity that constitute the agricultural
ecosystems, also named agro-ecosystems: the variety and variability of animals,
plants and micro-organisms, at the genetic, species and ecosystem levels, which
are necessary to sustain key functions of the agro-ecosystem, its structure and
processes. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for
scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss
various new issues and developments in this area of agricultural biodiversity .
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and
authors to submit original research and review articles that explore agricultural biodiversity. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not
limited to:
