Special Issue on Inverse Problem and Its Application

The inverse problem is the research process of exploring the causes by the results. Inverse problem is usually ill-posed, so the solution method is highly sensitive to noise. Inverse problem research originates from mathematical equation, and its inversion algorithm includes many ideas and techniques in numerical solution of differential equation, optimization method and probability statistics. On the other hand, the study of inverse problems also promotes people's understanding of the world, making the study more comprehensive and deepening.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring inverse problem and its application. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Inverse problem of mathematical physics
• Geophysical inverse problem
• Inversion algorithm
• The forward problem and the inverse problem
• Solving method for inverse problem
• Application in image processing
• Inverse problem design
• Development and prospects

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Inverse Problem and Its Application” should be chosen during your submission.
