Special Issue on Fatigue and Fracture of Engineering Materials and
Structures
Fatigue
& Fracture of engineering focus on the topic of structural integrity which
is founded on the mechanics of fatigue and fracture, and is concerned with the
reliability and effectiveness of various materials and structural components of
any scale or geometry. Fatigue is the most common source behind failures
of mechanical structures. The goal of this special issue is to provide a
platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share,
and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of fatigue and fracture.
In
this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles that explore fatigue and fracture of engineering materials and structures. In
this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Fatigue
limit algorithm
-
Mechanisms
of material fatigue and fracture
-
Corrosion
fatigue and fracture
-
Fatigue
analysis
-
Low-
and high-cycle fatigue
-
Design
against fatigue
Authors
should read over the journal’s For
Authors carefully before submission.
Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript
through the journal’s Paper
Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special
Issue - Fatigue
and Fracture of Engineering Materials and Structures”
should be selected during your submission.
