Special Issue on Geophysics and Geodynamics

Geodynamics refers to the processes by which mantle convection shapes and reshapes the Earth and other rocky planets. Its study includes plate tectonics, volcanism, the chemistry of lava and volcanic rocks, gravity and geomagnetic anomalies as well as seismic investigations into the structure of the mantle. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of geophysics and geodynamics.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring geophysics and geodynamics. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Tomography and plate tectonics
• Dynamics of the Earth
• Gravity and heat flow
• Vibrations and electromagnetic waves
• Mineral physics
• Regions of the Earth
• Satellites and space probes

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
