Special Issue on Social Welfare and Security

The social welfare system denotes a set of related concepts, resources, institutions and professionals related to human needs in a specific society. Together with economic system, social system, political system and educational system, it has become a mechanism to maintain social operation. Welfare governance is one of the latest trends in the construction of western welfare society since the end of the 20th century. Its essence is to introduce the concept and method of "governance" into the field of social welfare. Its fundamental purpose is to maintain the stable or normal operation of society.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring social welfare and security. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Social welfare policies
• Public welfare facilities
• Social insurance and systems
• The elderly, women and children’s rights
• Welfare of the disabled
• Medical security
• Poverty alleviation policies
• Social assistance
• Education welfare

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
