Special Issue on Water and Environment

The natural environment is the place where human beings obtain basic life substances and the base to provide raw materials for human production. Water is the most active factor in the natural environment. The water environment directly affects the survival and development of human society. Water is the origin of life. The shortage of water resources and the deterioration of ecological environment are pregnant with a profound social crisis. In order to survive and develop human society, it is necessary to properly solve the problems of water and environment.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring water and environment. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Water crisis and ecological environment deterioration
• Water environment and human society
• Water, environment and sanitation
• Water and sustainable development
• Water disaster
• Surface water environment
• Groundwater environment
• Water pollution and environmental governance

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Water and Environment” should be chosen during your submission.
