Special Issue on Dark Matter and Dark Energy

In cosmology, dark matter is something that can’t be directly detected, that is, it does not interact with electromagnetic force. It may be a major component of the universe, but it does not belong to any known substance of visible celestial bodies. The most powerful evidence for the existence of dark matter is two points: one is the problem of Galaxy rotation, the other is the gravitational lensing effect. In short, dark energy comes from the fact that the universe accelerates expansion. The influence of dark matter is expressed in individual galaxies, while dark energy acts only on the entire cosmic scale. The theory of dark matter has been widely recognized by astronomy and cosmology, but the study of dark energy is still in its infancy. The study of dark matter and dark energy has opened up a new world for physics and astronomy.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring Dark Matter and Dark Energy. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Big tear theory
• Origin of dark matter and dark energy
• Formation of dark matter and dark energy
• Detection of dark matter and dark energy
• Dark energy model
• Material movement and space-time structure
• The future evolution of the universe
• The composition of dark matter and dark energy

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Dark Matter and Dark Energy” should be chosen during your submission.
