Special Issue on Transportation Design and Planning

Transport is central to our way of life. It is a vital aspect of local, national and global economic and business activity and a growing field of professional employment. Transportation design and planning is a multidisciplinary field. It involves the assessment, evaluation, design, and site selection of transportation facilities (usually streets, highways, bicycle lanes, and public transportation lines).

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring transportation design and planning. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Traffic survey and analysis
• Transportation demand forecast
• Road network and traffic
• Design and planning of urban road traffic
• Traffic language design
• Traffic management design

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Transportation Design and Planning” should be chosen during your submission.
