Special Issue on Symmetry and Relativity
Research
The beauty of symmetry lies in the formation of laws in the chaos and the
introduction of order in disorder. Usually, the symmetry of physical quantities
is defined as: if a phenomenon or system does not change under a certain
transformation, it is said that the phenomenon or system has the symmetry
corresponding to the transformation. Symmetry analysis plays an important role
in physics. For example, conservation of energy, conservation of momentum, and
conservation of angular momentum are derived from time uniformity, space
uniformity and spatial isotropy, respectively. The special theory of relativity
is derived from the equivalence between the inertial systems. Electrodynamics
derives from the spatiotemporal covariability of the electromagnetic field. The
theory of relativity means that the law of physics has the same form in all
reference systems, and it is the basic principle of mechanics. The
goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and
academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new
issues and developments in the area of symmetry and relativity research.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on
exploring symmetry and relativity
research. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Discrete symmetries
-
Quantum symmetry
-
Supersymmetry and dark matter
-
Rigidity and symmetry
-
Complexity and
symmetry
-
Symmetry and duality
-
Spacetime symmetries
-
Application of
symmetry and relativity
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field
“Special Issue – Symmetry and
Relativity Research” should be chosen during your submission.
