Special Issue on Organic Compound and Its Derivatives

Derivatives are complex products derived from the substitution of hydrogen atoms or atoms in a compound by other atoms or functional groups. Common functional groups include -OH, -COOH, -CHO, -NH₂ and so on. The frequently occurring reactions are substitution, addition, elimination, addition and polycondensation, oxidation and reduction of organic compounds, etc. Organic compounds and their derivatives play an important role in the chemical industry.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring organic compound and its derivatives. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Organic Compounds
• Acid Derivatives
• Hydrocarbon derivatives
• Organometallic derivatives
• Design, Synthesis of organic compound and its derivatives
• Application of organic compound and its derivatives
