Special Issue on Mass Spectrometry Analysis
Mass spectrometry analysis is an analytical technique to sort ions based on their mass-to-charge ratio
under the action of electric and magnetic fields. Based on analysis of the ions,
it can allow us to identify the chemical formula, structure and fragmentation
patterns of compounds. Mass spectrometry analysis, especially mass spectrometer combined
with computers, is now widely applied in the fields of organic chemistry, biochemistry,
drug metabolism, toxicology, pesticide determination, environmental protection,
petrochemical, geochemistry and national safety. The disadvantages of this
method are its limitation in the complex organic compounds analysis and its
complicated separation and purification procedure.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on
exploring mass spectrometry analysis.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Principle of mass spectrometer
-
Mass
spectrogram and structure analysis
-
Tandem mass
spectrometry
-
IM-MS
-
Organic mass
spectrometry
-
Inorganic mass
spectrometry
-
Applications
of mass spectrometry
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field
“Special Issue – Mass spectrometry Analysis” should be chosen during your submission.
