Special Issue on Philosophy of Mind

Philosophy of mind is studies the nature of the mind. The mind–body problem is a paradigm issue in philosophy of mind, although other issues are addressed, such as the hard problem of consciousness, and the nature of particular mental states Aspects of the mind that are studied include mental events, mental functions, mental properties, consciousness, the ontology of the mind, the nature of thought, and the relationship of the mind to the body.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on philosophy of mind. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Mind–body problem
• Philosophy of perception
• Philosophy of mind and science
• Buddhist philosophy of mind
• Free will and self
• Cognitive science
• Naturalism and behaviorism

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Philosophy of Mind” should be chosen during your submission.
