Special Issue on Group Theory Studies
In
mathematics and abstract algebra, group
theory studies the algebraic structures known as groups. The concept of a
group is central to abstract algebra: other well-known algebraic structures,
such as rings, fields, and vector spaces, can all be seen as groups endowed
with additional operations and axioms. Groups recur throughout mathematics, and
the methods of group theory have influenced many parts of algebra. Linear
algebraic groups and Lie groups are two branches of group theory that have
experienced advances and have become subject areas in their own right. The goal of this special issue is to
provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to
promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in area of group theory studies.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on group theory studies. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Algebra, deformations and quantum groups
-
Lie theory and representation theory
-
Fundamental groups and periods
-
Geometry on groups and spaces
-
Connection of groups and symmetry
-
Topological groups
-
Subgroups and quotient groups
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field
“Special Issue – Group Theory Studies”
should be chosen during your submission.
