Special Issue on Systematic and Evolutionary Botany

Plant diversity is amazing and it is fundamental to the existence of many forms of life. This special issue addresses relationships among plants and mechanisms of origin of their diversity. We also study  knowledge about the processes and outcomes of plant evolution, the relationships of species within the plant kingdom and with other organisms through space and time, and the human uses of plant diversity.  As one of the most important and timely research fields of life science, systematic and evolutionary botany is of great attraction to researchers.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore systematic and evolutionary botany. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Plant classification
• Protection and utilization of plant resources
• Plant systems development and biogeography
• Adaptive evolution and protection of genetics
• Evolutionary developmental and genomics
• Plant resources and sustainable development

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Systematic and Evolutionary Botany” should be selected during your submission.
