Special Issue on Structural Engineering
Structural engineering is mainly a sub-division of civil engineering in which structural
engineers are trained to understand, predict, and calculate the stability,
strength and rigidity of built structures for buildings and nonbuilding
structures, to develop designs and integrate their design with that of other
designers, and to supervise construction of projects on site. They can also be
involved in the design of machinery, medical equipment, and vehicles where
structural integrity affects functioning and safety. The goal of this special
issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the
world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in
area of structural engineering.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on structural engineering. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Steel and concrete structural design
-
Smart structures
-
Structural management
-
Active and passive control of structures
-
Structural dynamics
-
Composite structures
-
Soil structure interaction
-
Computer aided design of structures
-
Non-destructive testing of structures
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field
“Special Issue –Structural Engineering”
should be chosen during your submission.
