Special Issue on Mechanics of Materials
Mechanics of materials is a discipline to study the strength, rigidity and
stability of members. In material mechanics, the research object is considered
as a uniform, continuous and isotropic linear elastic body. However, this ideal
state will not appear in the actual research, so it is necessary to compare the
theory with the actual method. Mechanical properties are the characteristics of
deformation and failure of materials under external force, so it is very
important to grasp the mechanical properties of materials for industrial
production and engineering design.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on
exploring mechanics of materials.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Study on static and dynamic characteristics of concrete
-
Mechanical properties of composites
-
Micromechanics of materials
-
Mechanics of metallic materials
-
Computational theory of material mechanics
-
Experimental analysis of material mechanics
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field
“Special Issue – Mechanics of
Materials” should be chosen during your submission.
