Special Issue on Aromatic Compounds

Aromatic compounds, also known as arenes or aromatics, are substances that consist of one or more rings that contain alternating single and double bonds in its chemical structure. Typical aromatic compounds are benzene and toluene. The unique stability of these compounds is referred to as aromaticity. In real life, many aromatic compounds have an odor, while there are also some compounds that are chemically aromatic, which do not have a distinct smell.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Aromatic Compounds. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Simple aromatic rings
  • Polycyclic aromatic compounds
  • Aromatic hydrocarbons
  • Benzaldehyde
  • Aromatic ketones
  • Benzenesulfonates
  • Benzene ring

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Aromatic Compounds” should be selected during your submission.
