Special Issue on Maternal and Child Health
This special issue focuses on research of physical and mental health, safety and well-being of the mothers and their babies. Maternal health is closely linked to newborn survival. Good nutrition, a healthy lifestyle, appropriate prenatal care and preventing actions, all these are very important to ensure a healthy newborn. After the child is born, the first five years are very crucial. Preterm birth, pneumonia, diarrhea, malaria, and other health challenges result in numerous under-5 deaths every year, most of them from preventable causes.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Maternal and Child Health. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Maternal and Child Health” should be selected during your submission.
