    Special Issue on Veterinary Vaccines and Immunology


    Veterinary vaccines are important for animal health, animal welfare, food production, and public health. They are a cost-effective method to prevent animal disease, enhance the efficiency of food production, and reduce or prevent transmission of zoonotic and foodborne infections to people. Safe and effective animal vaccines are essential to modern society.


    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Veterinary Vaccines and Immunology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:


    • Veterinary vaccines and vaccination
    • Immunologic diseases
    • Veterinary immunology and immunopathology
    • Veterinary immunochemistry
    • Veterinary immunodiagnosis
    • Veterinary immunogenetics
    • Disease resistance and immunity
    • Vaccine safety
    • Biology of cells and mechanisms of the immune system
    • Vaccine development and delivery
    • Novel vaccines or adjuvant effect on immunization
    • Action mechanisms of vaccines or antimicrobial agents


    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.


    Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Veterinary Vaccines and Immunology” should be selected during your submission.
