Special Issue on Brain and Neurons
The neurons are the cells within the nervous system, which process and transmit information through electrical and chemical signals. These signals between neurons occur via synapses, the contact points where one neuron communicates with another. The dendrites are covered with synapses formed by the ends of axons from other neurons. The brain is what it is because of the structural and functional properties of interconnected neurons.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Brain and Neurons. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Neural function
-
Neurotransmission
-
Sensory neurons
-
Motor neurons
-
Cholinergic neurons
-
Dopaminergic neurons
-
Postsynaptic neurons
-
Neuropathy
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Brain and Neurons” should be selected during your submission.
