Special Issue on Gender and Education
Global education patterns are changing. Within formal education
systems, from the primary to the tertiary levels, opportunities are expanding,
literacy levels are improving and enrolment is rising. But are these changes
advancing the goal of gender parity and equality in education across regions
and countries?
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Gender and Education. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Girls' education and gender equality
-
Gender and educational attainment
-
Gender gap in education
-
Feminist debate
-
Masculinized culture
-
Gender and culture
-
Female vocational training
-
Gender imbalance in education and employment
-
Educational policy and politics
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully
before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of
their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Gender
