Special Issue on Health Information Technology
Health information is the data that involves a person’s medical history, including symptoms, diagnoses, procedures and outcomes. The health information technology (health IT) refers to the exchange of health information in an electronic environment. The wide use of health IT improves the quality of health care, prevents medical errors, reduces health care costs, increases administrative efficiencies, decreases paperwork, and expands access to affordable health care.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Health Information Technology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
