Special Issue on Smart Materials and Applications
Smart materials are designed materials that have smart structure is containing multifunctional parts, such as shape memory polymers, electro and magnetocaloric materials, ferroelectrics, piezoelectrics, thermoelectrics, self-healing materials and electroactive polymers in general. These new classes of synthetic materials comprising ceramics, plastics and composites have had a major influence on our lifestyles in areas as diverse as those utilizing the more traditional naturally-occurring materials.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring smart materials and applications. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Smart Materials and Applications” should be selected during your submission.
