Special Issue on Requirements Engineering
Requirements
engineering is the branch of software engineering concerned with the real-world
goals for, functions of, and constraints on software systems. It is also
concerned with the relationship of these factors to precise specifications of
software behavior, and to their evolution over time and across software
families.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Requirements Engineering. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Quality in requirement engineering processes
-
Requirement engineering and software
standards
-
Requirement traceability
-
Requirement management challenges
-
Relevant tools, frameworks and methodologies
-
Case studies
-
Requirement specification approaches in
practice
-
Requirements elicitation, analysis,
documentation, validation and verification
-
Model driven engineering
-
Multi-agent systems and agent-oriented
software engineering
-
Example-centric programming
-
Software components and component-based
software engineering
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully
before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of
their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Requirements
Engineering” should be selected during your submission.
