Special Issue on Mycotoxins

Mycotoxins are toxins produced by some species of mold. They are found throughout a toxic mold colony, and on the spores. The substance a toxic mold colony is growing on affects whether the mold colony produces mycotoxins. Mycotoxins exist as a self-defence for toxic mold colonies. Toxic molds use their mycotoxins as a biological weapon against other organisms.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring mycotoxins. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Aflatoxin, ochratoxin, zearalenone, trichothecene, etc.
• Mycotoxins in food and agriculture
• Mycotoxin exposure
• Mycotoxin symptoms
• Mycotoxin treatment
• Mycotoxins removing
• Mycotoxins testing

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Mycotoxins” should be selected during your submission.
