Special Issue on Incentive Theory

An incentive is a spur, a motive, a provocation, a goad, a stimulus. Economists have long understood that the incentive to act is the prospect of the action yielding benefits to the actor. Because of that fact, particular incentives and incentive structures explain a very great deal of the economic world which swirls around us.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring incentive theory. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Business and economic incentives
  • Financial incentives
  • Moral incentives
  • Natural incentives
  • Coercive incentives

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Incentive Theory” should be selected during your submission.
