Special Issue on

Fluid Mechanics and Its Application Research

Fluid mechanics is the branch of physics which involves the study of fluids and the forces on them. Fluid mechanics can be divided into fluid statics, the study of fluids at rest; and fluid dynamics, the study of the effect of forces on fluid motion. Fluid mechanics, especially fluid dynamics, is an active field of research with many problems that are partly or wholly unsolved. Fluid mechanics can be mathematically complex, and can best be solved by numerical methods, typically using computers. As one of most important branches in mechanics, fluid mechanics research is of great attractions to researchers.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore fluid mechanics and its application research. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• The theory of fluid mechanics
• Biological fluid mechanics
• Micro fluid mechanics
• The experiment of fluid mechanics
• Computational fluid dynamics
• Rotation and stratified fluid mechanics
• Non-newtonian fluid mechanics
• Seepage mechanics
• Hydrodynamics
• Theory of turbulence

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Fluid Mechanics and Its Application Research” should be selected during your submission.
