Special Issue on Travel Medicine

Travel exposes us to wonderful new experiences, but it can also expose us to potentially serious health risks. The risks differ greatly depending on where you intend to travel and what activities you plan to undertake.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Travel Medicine. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Cholera
• Measles
• Rabies
• Yellow fever
• Zika virus
• High altitude physiology
• Infectious disease
• Tropical medicine
• Military and migration medicine
• Environmental health
• Japanese encephalitis
• Meningococcal disease
• Travel vaccinations
• Schistosomiasis

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Travel Medicine” should be selected during your submission.
