Call for Papers
Reproductive
technology encompasses all current and anticipated uses of technology in human
and animal reproduction, including assisted reproductive technology, prognostics,
contraception and others.
Assisted
reproductive technology include: artificial insemination, artificial
reproduction, cloning (see human cloning for the special case of human beings),
cryopreservation of sperm, oocytes, embryos, embryo transfer, fertility medication,
hormone treatment, in vitro fertilization ,preimplantation genetic diagnosis.
Prognostics means giving
an individual prognosis about future chances of pregnancy, facilitating an
informed choice of family planning. In women, such methods include mapping of a
woman's ovarian reserve, follicular dynamics and associated biomarkers. In males,
it includes semen analysis.
Contraception is a
form of reproductive technology that enables people to control their fertility.
Other Reproductive
Technologies contains artificial wombs, germinal choice technology, in vitro
parthenogenesis, reprogenetics. They are not routinely used and most of them
are even at the developmental stage.
In this special
issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring Reproductive
Technologies.
Authors should read
over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission, Prospective authors should
submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Paper
Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the“Special Issue’’ under your manuscript title is supposed to be
specified and the research field “Special issue - Reproductive
Technologies ” should be chosen during your submission.
