Special Issue on Petrochemical Research
A
petrochemical is a chemical which has been derived from petroleum or natural
gas. These chemicals are typically extracted during the refining process as
crude oil and gas are distilled or cracked. Petrochemicals have become an
essential part of the chemical industry today, and can readily be applied to
fundamental human needs, such as health, hygiene, housing and food.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Petrochemical Research. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Feedstock Petrochemicals
-
Refining technologies
-
Petrochemical intermediates
-
Petrochemical analysis
-
Environmental impact of the petroleum
industry
-
Applications of petrochemical
-
Hydrogenation and dehydrogenation
-
Dimerization and polymerization
-
Oxidation processes
-
Reforming and aromatization
-
Aromatic alkylation
-
Cracking (steam cracking, hydrocracking,
fluid catalytic cracking)
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully
before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of
their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Petrochemical
Research” should be selected during your submission.
