Advances in Fisheries and Aquaculture Research

Fishery is an entity engaged in raising, harvesting and processing fish in inland waters or seas. In our daily life, aquatic products from fish farming or aquaculture provide lots of essential nutrition, and according to the statistics, over 500 million people in developing countries make a living on fishery or aquaculture. However, the food chains and the balance of ecosystem suffer from immense damage because of overfishing and over-consumption of aquatic products. As one of the most important fields in agriculture, fisheries and aquaculture are of great attraction to researchers.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring fisheries and aquaculture. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Types of fisheries  
• Aquatic products
• Aquaculture area
• Raising and processing method
• Aquaculture technique
• Overfishing
• Impacts on ecosystem
• Fisheries management

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Fisheries and Aquaculture” should be chosen during your submission.
