Special Issue on

 Machinery Manufacturing and Its Automation

As an academic discipline, machinery manufacturing and automation encompasses the studies of manufacturing technology, automation manufacturing system, advanced manufacturing, and theory of mechanical manufacturing. Enriched by the latest development of related disciplines, it has endowed manufacturing technology, manufacturing system, and manufacturing mode with brand-new appearances. The purpose of machinery manufacturing and its automation is lies very distinctly in the digitally orchestrated automation of mechanical equipments and and its resultant series of advanced manufacturing technology, including CAD (computer aided design), CAM (computer aided manufacturing), FMC (soft manufacturing system), and so on. All these technical advances would eventually converge in the form of a large-scale computer integrated manufacturing system (CIMS) to fundamentally transform traditional mechanical processing. the Its specific applications in industries include numerically-controlled machine tool, machining center, etc.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Machinery Manufacturing and Its Automation.

Authors should read over the journal’s Author’s Guidelines carefully before submission, Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Paper Submission System.
