Special Issue on Petroleum Engineering and Technology

Petroleum engineering and technology is a combination of innovation, exploration and expansion. Energy is a key component in our everyday lives. A secure energy future requires a balance between environmental impact and affordable supply. Petroleum engineers have a future full of challenges and opportunities which to develop and apply new technology to recover hydrocarbons.

 

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring petroleum engineering and technology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Petroleum exploration and production
• Hydrocarbons production
• Petroleum geology and geophysics
• Formation evaluation, drilling and economics
• Oil refining
• Petroleum technologies
• Synthetic fuel technology
• Oil shale technology
• Reservoir simulation and evaluation

 

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

 

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Petroleum Engineering and Technology” should be selected during your submission.
