Special Issue on Malaria

Malaria is a life-threatening infectious disease of humans and animals caused by parasites, which is usually transmitted by the bites of infected female Anopheles mosquitoes. People with malaria often experience fever, fatigue, vomiting, chills, and headaches. Left untreated, they may develop severe complications or even cause death.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Malaria. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Plasmodium falciparum
  • Antimalarial medications
  • Cerebral malaria
  • Algid malaria
  • Serious complications
  • Genetic resistance to malaria

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
